Growing a Vibrant Community

This year marks an extraordinary milestone for our organization: 30 years of service to older adults in our community, and 15 years in the building we proudly call home. These anniversaries are more than just numbers; they are a reflection of lives enriched, friendships formed, and countless moments of connection, comfort, and care.

30th Anniversary Donation

From our early beginnings in 1995

when we established ourselves as Silverton Area Seniors Inc, a self-funded nonprofit organization, to the day we opened the doors to our current facility in 2010, this journey has been one of growth, resilience, and heart. It has been made possible by the dedication of our volunteers, staff, board members, and—most importantly—you, our steadfast supporters.

As we celebrate this dual milestone, we invite you to help us look toward the future with strength and sustainability. We are launching a special 30th Anniversary Campaign to raise $30,000, honoring each year we’ve served the Silverton community. The campaign is ‘growing a vibrant community’ as it represents our new mission statement: Silverton 50+ Center is a vibrant, welcoming community offering social, recreational and educational experiences for all.

Your generous gift will help us:

  • Expand programs that promote health, wellness, and lifelong learning
  • Improve accessibility and safety in our facility
  • Offer more resources to older adults facing isolation or hardship
  • Maintain the warm, welcoming environment that has become a hallmark of the Silverton 50+ Center

Whether you’ve participated in a dance class or exercise class, played poker or pinochle, or made new friends that created longtime connections in one of our social groups, you know the difference the Center makes. Now, we humbly ask you to be part of the legacy by making a gift that ensures the next 30 years are even more impactful.
